It is possible to address this problem through requiring players to contribute back to the games and removing the need for of coins that circulate. Although I'm not an expert on the Araxxor issue, I think that incentives would be helpful to motivate players to spend their money in a way that doesn't let it be transferred to a different player.
I'm not an active participant, therefore I don't have the ability to provide reasonable suggestions. There are many ways to get rid the money that has been laying around for years like shops, sawmills and so on. They managed inflation fairly well from 2001-2009.

Evidently it isn't enough, but. It is possible to alter the prices and selections of shops so that there's more spending similar to actual stores. The quantity of gold lost by monsters may have to be reduced, even though it is low. I could be wrong however, it seems like things are worsening because the rate of inflation is exponential. But, the rate for getting GP may not be.
