The night can make it dark in places like the wild or areas that are abandoned by cities. Firemaking may be useful there. Not to mention the different 'shady' people that are out in the streets and may attack us!
Ideas from Gonza Man! You can choose to have either night or day. An illumination source is essential in areas that do not have a light source, such as lamposts. Use an arc torch, lantern or candle. Nighttime will see you exhaust your energy quickly, which can lead to tiredness. Your chances of stealing will increase. Except when using falcons, your chances for hunting will be reduced. As with other NPC's, chickens shouldn't be killed at night. The wilderness should be free from revs during day. Prayer will last longer into the night. Let me know if you have any other ideas!
