It didnt happen in bfa - we sucked there too gameplay wise, we had some raidtiers where we had been middle of the Wow TBC gold pack instead of bottom third, but thats it. They finally de-reworked the whole spec into a better version of their pre-legion gamestyle (gameplaywise) and then just never allow us to be more aggressive in raids. I think they simply have some very committed designers for some courses and specs, and also those that are always forgotten and disregarded just dont have someone who needs it to succeed, so they simply get looked at sparingly and get a 5 percent buff here and there.

Wait wait wait. I ceased playing back during Cataclysm, and that had already been a meme back then make it was literally in the WOTLK trailer. I have kept up just a little bit over the years and completely forgot about this haha

As someone who had to give up playing classic due to lack of time, it has its own flaws, because it is a really old game now, but it did a lot too. It didn't have a ton of throwaway pieces. Everything in classic has been basically required, so as to operate somewhere else in classic. I have not seen a match with systems that integrated since then.

Meanwhile, I haven't gotten any new expansions because legion. Why? Since the sport keeps chugging along, but I don't feel like it's enhanced. I didn't even like Legion that far. It was nice, but I was not excited. Hilariously, I loved MoP, because I loved the side stuff (but not a great deal of those dailies).

I don't think any expansion because MOP actually improved on the game. It is basically the same game it has been for quite a while, but with a hard to swallow story (I kind of lost track of exactly what happened after MoP,) fresh zones, and some surface level stuff switched around and discarded after the previous expansion. If anything, it keeps gaining difficulties and plot holes.

At the end of the day, is that worth the $15 a month plus expansion expenses? No, Especially when there are lots of fantastic PC games which aren't just cheaper, but higher quality, also have a lot of gameplay hours, and have an entire experience as well as the 1 time cost?

I feel you. I get actual nostalgic for a few wow but read up about the present xpac and choose against it. I dont have a tonne of time anymore but MOP was the previous xpac I did the raids for. I quested a little from the xpac afterwards but got pissed at instances questing zones (I can not play my friend now cheap WOW TBC Classic Gold since hes 1 pursuit ahead wut? Sometimes I feel like I should've sold my accounts at summit cata times where I'd like 5 maximum level characters with epic raid gear pieces...
