I don't have any issue with new gamers posting on here their initial excitements with the sport. It is not like those pop up in Animal Crossing Items the"sexy" deadline, and you would only see them in case you're seeing"brand new". I concur with Slackerboe that having new users place these things increase the inclusiveness of this community. It reminds me when I started playing and I think it's wholesome.
Don't care about photos taken of the console-screen, I believe exactly what the picture itself is should matter.
This really annoys me. We have all read these lines ourselves from now. It is fun to share if you're the individual who achieved the milestone, but it gets tiresome to see so many"first blue rose" articles. I really don't believe that they ought to be prohibited altogether, but there's just no reason anybody should be taking a picture of the screen in 2021.
Pictures of irl merch
Something that disturbs me in a lot of gambling subreddits is"I purchased the thing!" Posts reaching massive quantities of upvotes. However, there are a number of really talented artists out there making exquisite fanmade merch, which shouldn't be discounted. I would like to say that maybe merch posts ought to be limited to the men and women who made the items, but that might cross over into self-promotion too much.
Official merch definitely doesn't have to be a part of the subreddit. This ought to be a place to show things off we've made, both in and outside of the game, and also to go over the sport as a whole. By definition, official merch is not created by community members, and the only effort involved with making a post about it's taking the picture.
Just a lot more prevalent occurrences. When you've been here almost every day for a year, you get tired of visiting"[villager] spitting fire!" Because yet another participant is having the"hating pineapple on pizza is trendy" conversation. And while it's mostly not a concern because winter is pretty much over, I got reeeeeal sick of seeing screenshots of misshapen snowboys saying"What. Is. Going. On." Yeah sure that was funny the first 10 days it happened in early December. Not too much in mid-February. I spoil the bejeezus out of myself every time an upgrade drops and someone goes into datamine all of the new assets even if they're still time-locked. I enjoy knowing what is coming so I could best prepare for it. The only thing which bothers me about time-traveling is if someone posts about"finally" achieving something that's ONLY possible through time-travel, such as getting all of the zodiac products, but we are pretty much past the point of that being a problem today.
Memorials
These don't bother me at all, and I can confidently say they are not posted to make someone sad about death except to remember and celebrate a loved one's lifestyle. Whenever someone posts about a villager seeing their grandma's memorial, by way of instance, I just think of cheap Animal Crossing Bells it as posting about how they feel their grandma is with them, which is a joyful thing.
