I dont believe the voting system works as well with OSRS gold because of the vast majority of the populace is maxed or higher level and would greatly skew content. RuneScape is in need of some content being redone and reworked. As a player coming back some of the old content is dreadful for the new player experience. System remains a train wreck to get a player to work out.

You ought to be catering to most players. No, because then you emphasise your existing playerbase dry and wind up in an even worse position if these new players don't stick around, which is what pretty much happened last two years apart from Quarantine and Arch bringing back a great deal of people temporarily. What they actually should do is simply advertising RuneScape better, instead of those really shitty advertisements that only get made fun of the pop up every now and then.

The problem is you can market for days but the new player introduction to RuneScape is crap. No player will stick around with RuneScape seeming like an alpha release game from steam. The only truly poor player encounters that are brand new are the port path systems, and the 516 choice menus. OSRS lack of direction and does not have a problem despite being ended. Hell even celebs are beginning to flow themselves playing with OSRS which puts even more eyes RuneScape. You will never find that for RS3.

IMO RS3 shouldn't do polls unless they know how to create real survey questions. The Comp Cape survey left up many responses for interpretation of their devs, as opposed to the thoughts of gamers was such a joke. This was clear when they discussed how the poll results with Mod Jack (let alone just reading the questions and set responses). I think looking at how OSRS voted for Warding is fairly clear why they would like to steer clear of ensured content surveys (imagine us not having Archaeology).

I know that the selections of Activity pets is not what I would have wanted. While I do obviously want participant opinions to have a hand in developing runescape 2107 gold long run, just how do we go about it while attempting to walk between the lines of ensured content and only tips?
