  • Honest question for those people mad about this, if a $10 price increase is an issue why the fuck are you currently purchasing a brand new $400+ console in release? I simply don't understand the way the characters 2k21 pc buy mt amplify outrage on anything. Two kinds of folks out here. People who are going to buy it eventually, and those who weren't going to anyhow. Is this covetous? Yup. Will it matter? Nope. Tired of these threads weekly.

As much as I do not want to pay more, we actually need this. It has been almost 20 years since the last price increase that is standard. The cost to make NBA 2K has quadruped and inflation has taken its usual rise. The entire sector was afriad to boost the price because the first games to take the jump will get ridiculed. I really hate microtransactions, but let's be real they become more and more of a essential evil if game companies can not make the very same profits they used to without them.

NBA 2K20 offered at least 8 million copies. If that was at $60 a pop, that's almost half a billion. It will not cost that much to make a new edition of NBA 2K each year. And that's not and yet much they get out of game advertising deals. Yes, a price increase was probably at any stage, but in no way are 2K hurting for money to demand it. Nor will them increasing the base cost of NBA 2K create the microtransactions lessens. NBA 2K probably doesn't need the money the most, so they are one of those few which can safely take the plunge into a higher cost. It is a move that I believe has to be done and they can likely do it the safest.

In terms of the MT, yeahhhh that is the issue:/ If higher costs meant lowering MT, that would make me more happy. However, these companies are not going to throw away a"good thing". This needs to be a sign of a benchmark that is new. I really don't feel that 2K relies on NBA 2K's MSRP for profit, I saw both 2K and Madden both being sold for $25 by Black Friday this past year, and even ended up getting Madden from it, essentially two months post release. These games wind up getting really cheap really quickly and 2K has been online game pass for a couple months now along with being in humble bundles and getting other heavy discounts. If this really is a bigger movement in prices, I would not be surprised.

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but should you control the standard $60 with this edition, of contribute the additional revenue for charging more, I'm ok with it. I'm not comfortable with charging more and making more specifically because it's Kobe, if that is reasonable. This, there is a way to honor the dead. mt coins 2k21, like corporations, has the main MO. Due to what he'll do to help their amounts they love kobe, but likely love him after his death.
