India have produced many wicketkeeper batters throughout the years and KL Rahul is one of them who has raised his game so high in recent times that he has been considered as one of the regular faces in the squad too. Although wicket-keeping is not his primary job, KL Rahul has started to enjoy the glove work now in the limited-overs format and chose speedster JaspritBumrah as the toughest bowler to keep.

"Absolutely enjoying wicket-keeping. The toughest bowler to keep to is @Jaspritbumrah93," KL Rahul said in a 'Q&A' session on his Twitter handle recently.

The right-handed batsman, who has played 36 Tests, 32 ODIS and 42 T20Is so far , has become the familiar face behind the wickets from the limited-overs home series against Australia where he replaced the another regular one- Rishabh Pant. Pant has been going through a rough patch with both bat and keeping gloves and eventually got replaced by Rahul who later did the glove-works during the tour of New Zealand too.

"It's got to be the 2016 season with RCB which was a career-defining season for me as people saw the potential in me in white ball cricket," said Rahul when he was asked about his favouriteIPL moment.

"As a batting partner he is amazing. I met @henrygayle first when I was with RCB. The best conversations I had with Chris are on the pitch. He is a smart cricketer and plans his game lot. He is great to have in the team and is very friendly with youngsters as well," he further added.

KL Rahul, who made his Test debut against Australia in December 2014 at Melbourne, also said that it was a special feeling to get the Test cap from former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni who is considered one of the best captains of India as well as the one of the best finishers too.

"It was a special and emotional moment for me. I never thought I would get a chance to play in the series and it was a special feeling to get that cap from MS Dhoni," Rahul concluded.
