Legendary pace bowler Wasim Akram believes that the bowler like Jasprit Bumrahshouldn't go for playing in the English county as he has been playing across formats of international cricket for India. Notably, Bumrah has never played county cricket as he is the key player in the cash-rich tournament - Indian Premier League where he plays for Mumbai Indians.

"Cricket has become too much today. A guy like Bumrah being a top bowler, India no 1, I would have suggested him to relax and not run after county cricket. Young players need to play more first-class cricket, from there they will learn bowling," Wasim Akram said.

"T20 is amazing, good entertainment; there's plenty of money involved and I'm all in for the importance of money in a sport and the players," Akram, considered as one of the greatest left-arm pacer bowers in the world said to Aakash Chopra on his YouTube channel. "They won't learn bowling from T20. I don't judge a player by T20 performance, I judge them from their performances in the longer version of cricket."

Wasim Akram also recalled his initial days of cricket as a Pakistan cricketer and also shared that he didn’t know about his talent. He also shared that he used to listen a lot of praise of him from Imran Khan, Javed Miandad, Mudassar Nazar and a few. He aalso said that he once asked Imran Khan about this and he said Akram’s pace is deceptive and asked him to swing the ball and after that, he started to work on those areas as well.

"Nothing comes easy was one advice which I learnt from all these three players all though their ways were different. As a bowler, our job is to create doubts in the minds of the batsmen. I enjoyed the tag that I am talented," Wasim Akram concluded.
