Like for cheap RS gold instance, RS3 you can spend GP to purchase certain regular cards out of stores for varying costs while other runescape players can get card duplicates of different notable NPCs like KBD to a rare drop rate that might be utilized for the card Chronicles or may be offered to other runescape players, same might occur where you could sell those special Chronicle cards earned from packs or whatever on RS3 if you don't desire them. I understand that would involve greater MTX, but considering it'd be buying packs to sell cards when you could buy bonds it would get people playing games longer.
The reason is because they let it die, unless I'm mistaken. Like with each match that Jagex has released, if it isn't as powerful as Runescape it drop. Chronicles released, was actually enjoyable and intriguing, but then as far as I can recall never got upgrades. It was released, it had a bit of success, they put those chronicle items into RS, expected it to automatically take off to colossal levels of achievement which it didn't, stopped updating it after awhile stopped supporting it all together.
They all share the same issue of,"That isn't pulling at least as many runescape players as Runescape. Down it." Seriously, I don't know if any company has the same mentality with movie games. If it does not see instant and continuous success, it is an issue which never gets any therapy. They never attempt to push unique games past the launch of it, they hardly if at all upgrade them. I just wish they'd realize how many games they have published that how to get money on old school runescape were really enjoyed, but never got anything new.
