EA explained that those who don't want to manage their scout squads can "set up a system and forget about the issue." Scouting is not something that should be punished for.
In the course of the season There are some crucial dates to keep an eye on:
Week 1: Last opportunity to re-assign/hire/fire scouts
Week 2: Assign region Scouts to different positions
Week 8: Assign national scouts to individual positions
Week 11: Pick 3 players you want to focus on the areas you can gain 30% of a player's profile
Stage 3 of Free Agency: Choose 3 players for private workouts. At this point, 40% of a player's profile will remain unlocked
