Only improvements we will probably see is the brand new engine improving shadows, shadows, colors, particle effects and PSO2 Meseta projecting them against the outfits. You can take a look how just implementing better shadows and colours can enhance old equipment by assessing ReShade screenshots. Collabs that have experienced their makeup removed nevertheless have their assets exist on the sport so those will likely still be available for jp players. I really don't know this sort of mentality. Do you not play with these match since they are fun to play? Or do you play them with the concept that it is only"worth it" if these 100s of hours have been carried over like it is some type of investment? I read stuff on the web like this all of the time and it is so strange to me. It's a new game that brings new experiences to be enjoyed. NG being declared doesn't somehow negate the fun of now playing PSO2. NG is supposed to come out in 2021, which could be over a year from now. That's so much time to enjoy PSO2.

Ummm we just got the game in NA a number people didn't play on JPN servers this entire time and now we're being told any progress we make in the variant we just got is going to be for nothing if you want to play with the new game. Some people are also spending some money in this type of the game. They should have just never published this current version in NA and just waited until 2021 for this particular one. I would have never even started playing if I knew a new variant of a live service game was coming out. That is the reason Sega is a third party dev now rather than hardware manufacturer. They badly take you step forward and 2 steps back all the time and it's frustrating. The life cycle for NA is just starting so it doesn't make sense in any way. What's the purpose of this game? This is key information.

I mean, for a lot of us this game is no more than a quick log in, 5 minute every day, then adapting idle till UQ, so this (maybe not ) new game will not actually interfere with what a few of us are already doing lol I like this game enough that I will likely keep playing it even after NGS launches, particularly if they're intent on supporting it before 2022. In addition, the jury remains out on how cosmetics and other bound things will be handled out of their vague announcement. Cosmetics, high quality, and expansions are all character bound but we do not know if they'll carry over, but if they do then it will not be a total waste of cash.

I am really excited with this update. I just don't enjoy our levels will be flashed. For somebody who only started this year with NA, like me, it actually hinders my urge to keep progressing my personality in the version of PSO2 we have now. I do not head leveling a new personality and whatnot, however if we're keeping weapons and units we really need to learn how they will be carried over. I'd love to have a couple of good sets of gear to use in the beginning but it could be... unfortunate should they nerfed a 13 celebrity weapon into a three star or something similar. I really could see a 13 falling to a 12 or 11, maybe even 10 star with legitimate reasoning and sufficient new gear to find. However, greater than this would be ridiculous. And can you buy meseta on pso2 when affixes are not carried over it puts a hamper on trying to affix things to be good gear. Might as well just slap a couple of decent ones on there for reduced cost and wait until NG comes out to determine how they do affixing in it.
