Elon likes to cater to younger audiences. He does not playwith. Yeah, his response is vague enough to get deniability on. Bill Gates has argued he should be spending more in taxes and has committed to giving 95% of his wealth away. If he would like to give away it than give it off. I'm sick of those elites saying shit like"I should pay more in taxes". Why can you pay more in taxes? If you would like to help allocate that money to the peopme/charities that need it. The government is not the most skilled at assisting those that need it. Leave it up to find it out? We have plenty of people that can use some help. Give it all away Mr. Gates if you would like to.
I mean he is. And why pay more in taxes? Since there are things the government does that can not be achieved (or can not be done easily) from the private sector. Universal Basic Income necessitates the coordination that only the government has. Shifting to universal healthcare requires a guaranteed supply of funding and knowledge that the government possesses. Repairing roads and Old School RS Gold bridges etc.. Taxes are a guaranteed revenue source that may be utilized to install permanent applications. Donations are a temporary revenue source that can setup funds, but they are either considerably lower value (working off just gains ) or temporary.
