Fights take longer not because of Kamas Dofus Retro the resistances only but how some courses are superior to other people in term of survivability.Again, shields are meant to decrease damage, but marginally are able to boost yours because survivability would mean that you'd have more time to throw a few spells out since you didn't die in the first turn. The real way ankama would have the ability if is they followed a strong against/weak against chart such as this one, to balance the courses, but they would need to repaint all classes.
Are you trying to attract logic and caring about what there is a shield in real life, so much in a game where arrow is a fire element spell? How they're defined and what shields are does not matter. Shields are not actual shields. Shields are only another piece of gear. If it makes you feel better, think of them as bracelets which have a weird shape.From a balancing standpoint, it makes more sense to get shields as they were proposed, rather than as purely defensive equipment.

That is a mistake on their part, I had proposed for them to Buy Dofus Kamas echo substitute it with something else such as"Searing Arrow" exactly the same effects, just different title and animations but they did not - heck they even have Feca's Class spell named as Reinforced Protection but it simplifies using shield spells.
