When playing Dark and Darker
The final class and at high in the charts is the Ranger as was the case with the previous alpha playtest. The Ranger is truly one of the classes that rose to the top of the list by excelling in a specific area: damage that Dark And Darker Gold is ranged. The ability to shoot a bow that has unlimited arrows to fight enemies and the other characters with whom they (almost always) have to sprint towards them in order to fight is too to be a disadvantage.
It's not a problem that most Of the ranger's Skills or Perks are fantastic and are able to be used in various designs. Additionally, due to its dark tone generally, it's much more difficult to set up a trap players will not fall into than to create one that players would enter.
When playing Dark and Darker, the goal in the game is plunge into the dungeon, collect as much loot as you can and leave. In terms of loot is concerned there's a good amount. Everything a player picks up within the dungeon can be sold to the Merchants when they get out, with general gold and silver antiquity/pottery/dishware selling for the most. What do you know about one of the more rare objects that players come across and that is that of the Ancient Scroll? What does it perform, and, if it's the item is sold, what price it being sold for?
Unfortunately it appears that unfortunately, the Ancient Scroll currently does not serve a role for use in Dark and Darker. It's not clear if this will change in the coming betas or even in the final release, but at present it's not even used for anything. Although it takes up 6 slots in inventory and appearing to be some kind of rare item, it doesn't do anything and that's at all the worst part of it.
The short answer? The Ancient Scroll is not nearly as valuable as the gold it's sold for, at the very least when compared to the other valuable things that can be use in its place. Ancient Scrolls comprise six squares of the very limited bag space of 50 slots and are sold for around 3 Gold at the Collector, if you can extract it the scroll with their hands.
It's better when players are able to fill up those 4 slots by acquiring random items of jewelry or tableware. For new players: random weapons (unless of an extremely rare nature) isn't worthwhile to keep in the event of a sale, at the very least, over single-slot value of items like jewelry and the like.
There are now higher rarities for Ancient Scrolls, as some players have claimed to have seen blue, green and even purple variants. However, they are also virtually worthlessand it's still unclear whether they'll fetch more than the standard "flawed" edition does.
To conclude Let's try some theory-based crafting. This Ancient Scroll is one of the few items that be unique in appearance, but it's not a thing that serves a purpose which is why the game's creators will likely offer this item a function in the near future. In that light What purpose might the Cheap Dark And Darker Gold serve in the future?
