Morgan Day: We've all had our fair share of WOW WOTLK Classic Gold challenges finding a way to balance playing video games while having to keep a job, and everything else. [laughs]What is one of the things you feel like hasn't gotten quite as much attention about that Tomb of Sargeras patch due to come up on launch?
The most important thing we haven't exactly highlighted is the idea of, in the case of Broken Shore itself, the notion of a dynamic, dynamic environment; like a dynamic ebb and flow of the content on the Broken Shore.

One of the things we always wanted to accomplish with the world quest system however, and which we were not able to do throughout the entire Broken Isles. However, we were able achieve it in certain places--is making the regions that world quests are conducted in modify their population, alter the conditions in the region at the time of your world quest. This is among the things we've been able to accomplish for the Broken Shore, because it's not a level up zone so we don't have to be concerned about the population changing out , making it difficult to take on the quests you're required accomplish.

In that light we've attempted to make it so that each time you log in, and every day you log in, and you go to Broken Shore or go to Broken Isles, you don't know exactly what to do. You get in, assess the situation and figure out how you'll take this fight on to the Legion today.

It's almost like in Legion that this is only confined within the Island, as opposed to Cataclysm which the effects were so broad that affected the entirety of Azeroth. Are you saying that this is more of an intentional decision? Do you believe that the effects caused by the Legion will be felt more widely in Azeroth in the future?

A: One our principal philosophies that we have at Blizzard is to focus the awesomeness. Once you break out the various pieces of content too wide, it actually becomes quite overwhelming to players. As we saw in the prelaunch that we had these invasions that occurred in different parts of Azeroth And then we decided in part for the fantasy, partially for the story, that the Legion was to concentrate exclusively on Broken Shore and its immediate surroundings, which was known as the Broken Isles. We did this because we found that the game works well for that.

MD The big ideas with the patch is that we are going return in Broken Shore. Broken Shore and reclaim the Broken Shore. That's where the Legion expansion began. The way to start the Legion was that you went into Broken Shore. Broken Shore, you fought Gul'dan and all of these huge bad guys, and suffered a major loss. We lost Tirion as well as Vol'Jin and we lost Varian; huge losses and we had to buy WOTLK Gold retreat. So this patch is all related to the continuation the tale and moving that forward.
