A great set-up for slayer which is fairly cheap is to RuneScape Gold use the Slayer Helm, or Neitznot (sp?) Helm until you get the slayer's helm, Amulet of Glory, Fighter Torso (can easily be acquired within a few hours) Torag's platelegs, Verac's plateskirt if be using prayer in your duties as it comes with the opportunity to pray, Whip or Dragon Scimitar Dragon Defender, and Dragon Boots as well as Obsidian Cape (unless you have an afghan cape or a skillcape).

Be aware that this is only a suggestion for equipment You can always change things up. For example, you can switch out your defender in exchange for an Obsidian shield when you believe you need the additional defense boost. Also, you can always make use of dragon platelegs for your dragon if not want to fix the armor of your barrow as it wears out in combat.

Additionally, if you do not have the quest requirements for the helms, DO THEM. If you're planning to engage in any sort of killing, go through your Smoking Kills quest as soon as possible. Don't be afraid to test different options and see what works for you.

This whole setup will cost around 2-2.5M and is a fantastic overall setup to slay. Remember to also use some of that cash to buy super sets (Super Strength/Attack/Defence potions) that you should be using on ALL your slayer tasks.

It may seem like you are spending a lot at first but it speedens your work significantly and is very worthwhile. Plus, you'll be able to Cheap OSRS Gold profit from your slayer drops / clue scrolls, regardless.
